On December 1, 2008, we took our whole clan to the park for a fun filled day for playing, running and generally having a great time.
The puppies have woven themselves into our hearts and lives.
Indy now lives in Virginia with our daughter Jennifer
Kelby has been sold and will be leaving shortly for Rochester NY
Hope will be traveling to Dallas next week to live with Linda's parents and have a very rich and spoiled life.
Ceana and Sparkles have decided to stay in Phoenix to soak up the rays. We will have fun watching them grow.
Maidin is available as a show potential puppy. She is very smart and has a lovely temperament. She has an excellent shoulder layback and front assembly as well as a great rear. Her headpiece is excellent. We will also consider the right pet placement for Maidin.
Aiden * is available as a show potential puppy. There is something so special about this boy. The pictures do not do him justice. He reminds us so much of Rowen, with the biggest heart. He's always the first one to say hello to us. We love his head and wrinkles, and he has a very nice front. If we don't find the right special home, he will just have to stay with us.
Contact us if you are interested in either Maidin or Aiden. You may also contact us if you are interested in a puppy from a future litter. We can be reached at miracleterriers@gmail.com.
* As we were going through editing the pics, we noticed we didn't have that many of Aiden, we will add to the album pics of Aiden this weekend.
The Macree x Rowen puppies are ten weeks old tomorrow. It’s been an incredibly busy time with these special angels, but we love every minute of itWe continue our daily work with these pups, with the emphasis shifting to obedience, general dog manners, crate training, isolation training, night work and of course on-going socialization. Our goal with this litter was to move forward in our breeding program with improvement in the fronts, without sacrificing the strengths that were present in both Rowen and Macree. We are very pleased with what we are seeing. Both Rowen and Macree have beautiful headpieces and Rowen has a very strong rear. Both Rowen and Macree move so nicely, and we love the temperament of both.
We were very thrilled by the results of the temperament testing (PAT) of the puppies. Both Joe and I worked very hard on the components of our puppy program. Results from our first litter revealed pups that are relaxed during handling, calm and self-assured in stress situations, and equipped with curiosity and intelligence for novel tasks.Visitors are frequent, and the pups are happy to meet and play with our guests.
Miracle’s Indescribable (aka Indy) has gone to Virgina with our daughter Jennifer. Here, she and her husband Matt will work with him and given what we have seen initially, he will be in a show ring next year.
Miracle’s Song of Hope(aka Hope), will be going to Linda’s parents in Texas.
Miracle's Your Grace is Enough (aka Ceana) and Miracle's Sound of Heaven (aka Sparkles) will be staying with us for the time being as we watch them both grow up a bit.
AVAILABLE PUPPIES
Miracle’s Consuming Fire (Aiden):We are looking for a very special placement for this boy. While many that looked at pictures, chose Indy as the pick male, those that evaluated the boys in person and from our evaluation using Pat Hastings protocol, indicate that Aiden has exceptional potential, and is most probably the pick of the litter. We are hoping to find him a great home where he can be a cherished member of the family, with the opportunity for conformation as well as other events.
Miracle's Rain of Living Water (Kelby): Is on hold
Miracle's Morning Star (Maidin): Maidin is a very special little girl. We love her solid temperament, energy, intelligence and beautiful "presence." Maidin is available as a show/breed potential puppy. We expect Maidin will be between 13 to 13 1/2 inches at the shoulders. She has an excellent shoulder layback, and her front assembly and forequarters are an improvement over Rowen and Macree. She has an exquiisite head, nicely tapered neck, lovely topline and strong rear. She is incredibly easy to train, and we believe she has strong potential in not only the conformation, but also obedience ring.
We will be posting more pics over the next several days. Please contact us at miracleterriers@gmail.com if you are interested in any of the puppies of this litter or future litters.
Where has the time gone? Joe and I cannot express how much we are enjoying these babies. Each and every one of them are very special to us. We have expanded their area significantly. While the pups still have their wonderful puppy area, they spend quite a bit of time outside with Joe or myself as well as our other dogs. They love to explore the different textures of our large yard. We have set up obstacles and brought up lots of fun toys to run and chase after. They love chasing and playing outside and already are wearing sunscreen and have the beginnings of a tan. While working on socialization, integrative motor systems, and neural development is critical, gross motor skill development is paramount.
These pups are a very lively bunch. When visitors come, there is not a shy one in the bunch. We have begun night work, trips in the car, short socialization trips to neighborhood shops, post office, bank (two at a time). Significant desensitization continues both auditorily, visually and tactilly. Puppies sleep in open crate and are beginning to signal when they need to eliminate. We have begun basic obedience training with clicker training as at this age, puppies are eager and ready to learn with positive training. We are working on follow response and retrieval, as well as continuing isolation training.
Indy is a bright and intelligent boy. He loves playing with the interactive toys as well as the insect mat I made out of hair gel, plastic works, spiders and flying insects inside a very large ziploc bag. He is very active, but loves to give puppy kisses. Aiden is very inquisitive and loves to roam and investigate everything. He is the first one to welcome us in the morning and his tail never stops wagging. Joe and I are very impressed by these two special boys.
Our girl Sparkles, is living up to her name. She is very energetic and full of life and fun. She leaps into every activity and doesn't like to be slowed down even for something as mundane as a meal. Ceana is a little more reserved, but like the others in this litter quick to respond to the different activities, toys, textures and socialization. She loves to puppy kiss not only your cheek, but your ear and nose, and loves to snuggle. Maidin is a fantastic little girl. I really enjoy the temperament on this girl. She was the first to open her eyes and she hasn't stopped looking at all life has to give since that day. She takes so much in stride and is rock steady, and loves to play and romp with the boys and girls that are a tad bigger than her. Kelby is a very sweet natured girl. She is the absolute best cuddler and when we have individual time with her, she will play, but also likes to cuddle with us. And Hope.... Hope is so very special to us. She had a rocky start, but she has an amazing spirit and by the time she catches up, I doubt you will be able to tell she was so small. She never lets her small size stop her, she is so courageous.
Cheryl needs to come down and help us with our stacking photos :-)
Every puppy is pretty comfortable on the table, but I didn't want to push it to get them exactly perfect. We will add some pictures that we take this weekend.
We are having so much fun with these babies. We are working hard with sound desensitation as well as great problem solving and fun activities. They spend time in the puppy area, but also have lots of fun in our house, as well as outside now that the weather has cooled. They are being socialized with individuals of both sexes and all ages, and are so excited when people come to visit.
The puppies are now 4 weeks old and we are having so very much fun. We didn't post pics last week as the pics didn't quite turn out (i.e. lens problems). And we didn't want to do a reshoot during the transitional week. Indy and Sparkles were the pups to "turn on", followed quickly by the others.
We have moved them into the puppy pen, a large enclosure in our kitchen. (We don't need to eat on the kitchen table; it's been moved). Joe and I are building on our program to have a multisensory stimulation program that capatalizes on the sensitive stages of canine development. It would be impossible to list all that we are doing on a daily basis. Suffice it to say, we are providing a rich program that has been designed to stimulate auditory, visual, tactile, vestibular, and the olfactory senses. The goal is to have puppies that have been exposed to novel stimuli that enables to be a great dog, not a great show dog, but a great family member.
We are seeing exciting results both in temperament, intelligence and interaction between the puppies, the puppies and our other dogs and the puppies and us, as well as the friends and family that come and help socialize them.
We are very impressed with Indy. While it is very early, and we need to see how he turns out, he has a wonderful front and depth of chest. He is extremely outgoing and is very quick and energetic. Ceana and Sparkles are both extremely nice. both have great fronts, and while different style heads, both Ceana and Sparkles have nice heads. Sparkles is very outgoing, Ceana a little more reserved, but such a sweetheart. Aiden and Maidin are very striking. Aiden reminds us of pictures of Rowen when he was younger and Maidin has a wonderful headpiece and great angles. She is very inquisitive. Kelby is a beautiful girl, we love her coloring especially the markings of her head. She'll be a little slighter in bone, but again nice angles on the front and rear. Hope is our real scrapper. She is not afraid of anything, and has been the first to go through the different tunnels and obstacles.

First pick male - ON HOLD
We reserve the right to first pick female. All picks will be made at 8 weeks.
The puppies are now two weeks old as of September 11, 2008. Maidin was the first to open her eyes, followed quickly by the rest of the babies. In our problem solving set, the puppies are learning. We repeat the same activities each day, and you can almost see those neural networks hooking up. Our A students this week are Indy, Sparkles, Hope and Maidin. But don't count the others out, over the past two days, you can see them "turn" on. Development isn't always linear.
They are making incredible progress in getting on all fours and Indy and Sparkles are the marathon champions.
We are having a terrific time. We have switched from the Biosensory Method to Touch Conditioning, so necessary for the development of the pups. We continue to work on:
Olfactory stimulation
Tactile stimulation
Problem solving set
Vibratory stimulation
Touch conditioning
Vestibular stimulation
Working with different textures and temperatures
Beginning exercise with seperation
Adding more obstacles
Have fun with the pics, I know we are having fun taking them,
September 4th started Week 2 of the Rowen pups, they are now one week old.
We are having so much fun with these beautiful babies.

1. pre-stressors
2. Biosensory method
3. thermal stress and tactile stress
4. stimulation of the vestibular system
5. olfactory stimulation
6. vibratory sense stimulation
7. simple problem solving obstacles in whelping box

Anyone that has questions on this puppy program, please contact me privately at miracleterriers@gmail.com. It is a developmental program that must be done at the correct time at the correct sensitive (critical) stage of development.
We are very excited about this program and are seeing significant results even at this early age.
