AZ JRT Rescue Howliday
Since the pups are now 14 weeks old, we met with our friends from the ArizonaJack Russell Terrier Rescue Association's "Howliday." Little did we know that this great group of people do Terrier racing, but also have an impressive set up for Lure Coursing. Joe didn't get as many pics as he usually does as we were racing four dogs and had the pups in tow. He managed to get some nice pics of the JRT's and Aine'. Rowen was just too fast for pics. That boy is naughty in terrier racing, but in lure coursing, he stunned the competition of dogs bigger than him and placed 2nd out of about 60 dogs, only losing by .03 of a second.
Joe and I are now known as the Hairless people, and we were excited to learn that this great group get together about 4 times a year, and for such a worthy cause. Thank you to the AZ Jack Russell Terrier Association for making us feel so welcome. We'll be back in February!
