Mr. Bradshaw must have had some angels looking after him because he could have easily ran on to Bradshaw Road and gotten hit by a car. He had two bunny angles that were able to capture him sucessfully and get him to safety. What a very lucky bunny. He is meant to be someone's forever loving pet!
Mr. Bradshaw here was found wandering along Bradshaw Road. He's got the typical laid back and easy going personality that most Californians have. He's using his litter box and is quickly getting used to his new foster home. He'll be available for adoption within a week, once he's neutered.
Another picture of Tart.
Baby Tart is an adorable little girl. She's currently in foster. She is available for adoption but is still too small to be spayed. If she is adopted before she's old enough to be spayed we will require a $50 deposit, on top of the adoption fee, that will be refunded when she is spayed.
Jackson
Jackson looks to be a Japanese Harlequin mixed with Lionhead. He's super sweet and friendly. Jackson is currently in foster awaiting his neuter surgery. ID # A475200 Intake date 7/26/2008 Rescue Date 8/3/2008

UPDATE: Shania gave birth to 6 babies on 7/20/08. Momma and babies are doing fine. The babies will also be available for adoption when they are old enough.
Shania is a darling, danity female rabbit. She was surrendered to the shelter because she was kept outside, it was too hot and a coyote was found in the yard. She has been through a scary experience. Just the site of a preditor can frieghten a rabbit to death. Shania has been rescued and is now resting comfortably inside a safe cool air conditioned home. She will be in foster care until she has been spayed and recovered. She is a real sweetheart! ID # A473357 Intake date 7/7/2008 Rescued 7/11/2008

Love buns....
Maynard and Harryette are two love buns in need of a new home. The are bonded and must be adopted together. Maynard so amazing. He doesn't really like to be held, but he is very curious and will come up right along side you and either hop in your lap or nuzzle your leg until you pet him. He loves Harryette and he esp. loves to groom her. Maynard is the dominant one of the two. Harryette is a little skiddish, but very loveable. Once you pick her up she loves to be held and petted between the ears. She is also very curious and likes to pull on your pant leg if you aren't paying enough attention to her. She also likes to do little jump kicks when she gets to run around. She has really amazingly soft fur. They are currently available for adoption and can be seen by appointment. Please call and leave us a message at 916-710-0105 or email us at teamfur@gmail.com

Crystal is a lop/mix. She was dumped at a shelter with six babies. All of her babies have found new homes. Crystal seems to be on the shy side but once she is out of her cage in an exercise pen she warms up quickly and is quite playful. Crystal has a critter castle in her cage which she loves to hang out in. This makes her really seem more shy then she really is. She is easy to handle and is cared loving for by one of our 12 year old volunteers and her Mom. She is looking for a patient loving home. Crystal is currently at the Laguna Petsmart in Elk Grove. ID # A461287 Intake Date 2/14/2008 Rescued 2/21/2008

Marco sitting like a perfect gentleman. Marco is still a shy guy. He'll need a home that's willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe. He was not well cared for and he needs to learn that not all people will treat him the way he's been treated in his life so far.
Marco on the right has the most interesting markings. We will get a better picture of him posted soon. He is simply adorable! Marco is currently at the Elk Grove Petsmart on Laguna Blvd. Max, who is on the left, had to be euthanized because of injuries he suffered before being dumped at the shelter. 19 The woman who tried to dump Nelson was told she was at the wrong shelter. Because of where she lived she would need to take him to another location. She was upset by this and walked out the door, threw Nelson in the bushes and drove off in her Mercedes. Fortunately someone saw him and brought him back in. His nails were about a half inch long. We trimmed them up and got him settled in. He's a real sweetheart. Curious and friendly but a little cautious still but who could blame him. I'll get a picture as soon as I can. Nelson is currently at the Laguna Petsmart on Laguna Blvd. in Elk Grove. ID # A462911 Intake Date 03/11/2008 Rescue Date 03/18/2008
Another picture of Nelson. I've been asked what happened to his ear. Some people think he has a broken ear. He is not broken, he is a lop mix so his ears are just a little mixed up.

Here's a current picture of Cinnabun. He's currently finishing up his summer shed and you can see the shed line. He's a little chubby but we hope with a proper diet and an exercise pen that will allow him some space to play that he'll tone up quickly. He's a shy boy as he's not received much attention for a long time but he enjoys being pet and with some time and patience I'm sure he'll come out of his shell. I'll be sure to post updates
