Barn Swallows
Late May of 2008 a pair of Barn Swallows built a nest and raised a family under the awning of the side entrance to our house.

Two partial egg shells found on ground below nest.
There was a total of 5 eggs in the nest.
We are not sure of the dates that the eggs were laid, as we could not see inside the nest.

A total of 5 baby birds were born.

About this time we found one of the baby birds dead on the ground below the nest, leaving four.
