Outside view of addition showing poured cement area.
Toilet area across from vanity.
Cupboards, recycled from original "woodshed", placed over the area where the washer and dryer will go.
A main floor closet was a must! It's the only closet on the main floor of our house.
At the same time we put down the cement pad between the addition and the garage we decided to add a basketball court.
Update to Laundry Room May 2011
We installed new flooring and are replacing 17 year old washer and dryer.
Corner behind door where new washer will go.
Same cabinets as always.
Extra large towel rack was made when the kids were swimming and needed the space to hang their wet suits and towels.
Same washboard. Made in St.Thomas,Ontario.
Vanity had to come out to lay the flooring. Same mirror, new lights.
Same ornamental handtowel rack. New toilet paper holder and new toilet about a year ago.
Close up of towel rack.
New washer and dryer. These are slightly larger than my old ones, so had to place them to one side to make room for the "wash tub stand" that holds the laundry baskets.
Washing directions from days gone by.
