We flew in a day early to ensure that we would still make the cruise in the event of flight delays, but didn't get to see much of the city until after the cruise when we rented a car.

We had some time to kill before our flight home, so we rented a car and explored Fort Lauderdale.

We found ourselves at Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor, a landmark in Dania Beach.
