A Good Day to Dye (March 4, 2006)| Over the past 10 years I have learned to comb, spin and dye yarn. With the help of Matt Lochansky we have grown a knitting website with 17 felting patterns. I have a deep love of knitting and now, an allergy to wool. Kim Green of Celestial Yarns refuses to let me give up. She brought her whole family out a few Sundays ago to skein 150 hanks of my yarn so that all I have to do is put on my handy rubber gloves and head out to the dye pots. I am deeply grateful to the Greens and Jess. |
