UKC GrCh 'PR' KnD's Waltzing Matilda
UKC GrCh 'PR' KnD's Waltzing Matilda
SPAYED and RETIRED
Please meet Tildy.. born 01/26/2007. 31.25% Fire Mountain strain.
Tildy lived with Barbie T. of Bur-Way for a short time. Thanks Barbie for loving, showing and caring for Tildy. Tildy looks good and we are very happy to have her back home.
"Waltzing Matilda" is Australia's most widely known folk song, and has been referred to as 'the unofficial national anthem of Australia'.
The song narrates the story of an itinerant worker making a drink of tea at a bush camp and stealing a sheep to eat. When the sheep's owner arrives with three police officers to arrest the worker, he drowns himself in a small watering hole and goes on to haunt the site.
The original lyrics were written in 1895 by the poet and nationalist Banjo Paterson, and it was first published as sheet music in 1903. Extensive folklore surrounds the song and the process of its creation, to the extent that the song has its own museum, the Waltzing Matilda Centre in Winton, Queensland."

"Matilda was a mock-romantic word for a swag, and to waltz matilda was to hit the road with a swag on your back."

Lone Oak's Jouncy Jo Please meet Lone Oak's Jouncy Jo. (Jo Jo)
RETIRED AND SPAYED
As you can see, Jo Jo is a white , black and tan with that cute black ticking.
Jo Jo is a full sister to our Twilight Angel. She was sired by the little power pack, Lone Oak's Lemon Lad (apricot & white) out of the (black and tan with white) dam, CH Lone Oak's Pandora..
Lemon Lad is a VERY strong little dog from Fire Mountain stock. If you get a chance to see this little man, please do. He comes from a long line of Fire Mountain dogs so that body and muscle tone is something to see. You can obviously see the influence of these great puppies in the strong body of our Jo Jo. Jo Jo has produced wonderful litters. Not all dogs can reproduce their own good qualities. It appears that our Jo Jo can. We are very proud of this girl. She is FULL of love and kisses she is just so hard to ignore. She is so loving and outgoing she takes your heart in a few quick seconds. We mentioned how Empress prefers Darla and that she loves me too with all her heart but Darla is special to her. Jo Jo on the other hand adores Me. What is not to love I hear you ask. Jo Jo thinks I am special,,,, even Darla says that Jo Jo looks at me all soppy and lovey. People that only have one dog really miss out on something. They do not see that each dog is unique. Jo Jo is truly one of a kind.

UKC CH KnD's Magilla Gorilla
Please meet "Magilla Gorilla ~ Magilla"
Magilla is a white and apricot piebald born here at KnD on 04/11/08. As you can work out, he is a full brother to Lucky and Neddy but from another litter.
Magilla is a show dog,,, he loves to be loved and looked at and he loves to be with Darla and I. He titled very nicely when he got the hang of it. At first his attention span was limited,, but he was a baby.
Please come back from time to time and help us watch him as he grows and shows too. He is 81.25 % Fire Mountain strain.
We are very proud of what Rock and Liberty have produced for us. In Magilla and his brothers we see exactly what we had imagined these two beauties would produce. Magilla is on this list to be neutered soon. He was one of my best show dogs. If he was not stcked right .. it was my fault. He never faltered and HE LOVED IT. He is destined to always be my boy and after he is neutered he can be with me most all the time .. that I am happy about. PLL:RAT-PLL99/15M-PI - CLEAR.

UKC GrCh KnD's Golden Girl RETIRED SPAYED
Please meet Rose... The Golden Child.... The Chosen One....
Rosie was born on September 5th, 2005 and is our rising star. We are hoping that she will replace her dam, Gizmo. Gizmo was bred to our Bandit in the hope of a puppy with Gizmo's chest and muscle and movement like Bandit,,i.e. better rear angulation. Both Bandit and Gizmo have beautiful heads so we feel that Rose could grow to be better than both parents.... in all areas.
Rose is a part of our smaller mini program where we are very serious to prove that smaller ratties can still look very good.
Please help us watch her grow and tell us what you think. Your opinions are important and will go along with opinions from UKC Judges in 2006 as we watch this girl mature.
Update: Denton, Texas April 22-23 2006~ Rose's frist time in the ring. Rose took 3 Best Female and 1 Best Of Winners. Giving her the 3 majors she needs and 81 of her 100 points that she needs for her to be a Champion.
Update: Norman, OK. April 28, 2006 ARTA Rat Terrier Special~ Rose, Best Female and Best Of Winners making her a Champion.
