Hazee/Westin Litter--2 Weeks Old 2 Weeks and 1 Day Old!
Seven very healthy puppies in this litter. All are being well fed and growing by leaps and bounds.
At two weeks, 1 day old, all but one of them have their eyes open (Jethro doesn't). Jonah and Jade led the way, with both of them opening their eyes on day 13. The remainder except for Jethro opened their eyes on day 14.
We are still in the midst of doing stimulation exercises daily with them. They've had their first toenail trim, first worm treatment and of course, their second photo shoot.
Even at only 2 weeks old, they have begun scooting around and inspecting their surroundings. Since they are in our kitchen, they're always the center of attention and get plenty of human interaction. Hazee, of course, is a magnificent mom and is taking such great care of them.
They are expected to finish in the 22-23 lb. range and be 15-16 inches tall when grown. The litter is dual registered with AKC-FSS and UKC.

Hazee/Westin Litter--Newborn *****3 Day Update*****
All puppies have gained weight and seem to be doing great! Tails and dewclaws removed according to breed standard on 11/06/2009.

Born 11/03/2009!
Well after a long day of labor, Hazee has given birth to 7 healthy puppies-4 males, 3 females. We've posted a couple of shots taken within moments of the last puppy being born. We will not post individual pictures until mommy and babies get a couple of days of rest. There's a possibility that one or more of the "tan" sables that I have listed are in fact, heavily chocolate sabled. When their nose leather color fills in, we will know for sure.
