Air Force Academy (June 2008)Well they are off! Both Katie and Laurie have accepted appointments to the Air Force Academy :) They made it through Basic Training successfully, but as the pictures below show, it was really tough. The Academy had a photographer posting pictures for the parents - here are a few of the twins that I was able to find. Both girls were "accepted" into the Cadet Wing at the beginning of August.
School has started now for both girls. They are taking Frech, Portugese, Calculus, Engineering, Composition, Computer Science - oh my you name it and they are taking it! Classes are very hard. They have also started diving and gymnastics again slowly getting back into their sports. So far - so good. It is an experience!

Mehlville HS Swim Team Senior Meet (February 5, 2007)It was the big meet against Affton HS. And of course - it was MHS Senior day. Lots of swimming, diving, flowers and goodbyes for the seniors.

Gateway Challenge Team Cup 2007 (February 4, 2007)Here are the shots I took at the Team Cup Challenge. All of the photographs are for sale if you are interested - just send me an email to jshetley2@hotmail.com.
Prices are $4 for a 5x7 or $7 for an 8x10 - I can put two 5x7 shots on an 8x10 and you can save some money. I make nice collages with 3 - 5 pictures on one page - also $7.
NONE OF THE PHOTOS ARE EDITED YET - THEY ARE STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA.
I have over 300 shots here and will only edit the ones you are interested in purchasing. I will edit color, contrast, crop to size, and sharpen for you - once I know which picture you want. Editing will make the picture look much more crisp for you. Edits are free.
If you want the digital image - fine. You can edit anyway you choose. I will put your unedited images on a cd for $35 - no matter how many pictures/events your child was in. Be sure to tell me what event(s) your child was in so I don't miss any.

Tower Grove Park & the Lilypads (September 3, 2006)Tower Grove Park in St. Louis is one of the most beautiful parks in the area. It is known for the wide variety of trees growing there, the colorful pavillions and unusual architecture. Every weekend it is packed with people enjoying this local gem.

Jeff's Garden (June 29, 2006)Jeff has the most unusual "moon flowers" in his garden. And the most gorgeous cone flowers I have ever seen. The moon flowers only open up at night - so you have just a few minutes to shoot them before all light is lost :)

Oklahoma City Memorial (April 2006)It has been 11 years since the terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Builging in Oklahoma City. We went to visit the Memorial Site - it was a sad and somber day. Here are a few images from my visit.
If you are happen to find yourself in Oklahoma City for any reason - visit the Memorial. The people of Oklahoma City should be very proud of their wonderful city and this site in particular. I will never forget my visit here. |

Gateway Challenge 2006 (February 3-5, 2006)This is all the photos I have. I have loaded the Event Finals, Team Cup Challenge and Levels 8-9-10 sessions.
If you want prints from any album, just send me an email with the names of the pictures you want. They are presented in the order the children competed that event.
You can get a 5x7 of one picture for $3 or an 8.5X11 with 3-5 pictures in collage format for $6. The prints are very nice. Hope you like them!
I also video-taped the entire Team Cup Challenge. It was a blast. I will be making a DVD of the meet and will include all of these photos as a special slide show at the end. If you want a copy - just let me know. Copies are $10 per DVD.

UCity Small Club Swim Championship (April 2005)Holly had a great meet. She took 1st Place in 200 free, 50 free, 100 back, 100 free, and 2nd in 200 IM & 200 back, AND she won the Meet High Point Award. This was her best meet of the season!
I also had fun shooting all the young swimmers at the meet. Holly coaches some of these children!
