1 The bridge just outside our Building.
2 The American River runs practically outside my door!
3 The Jedediah Smith Memorial Bicycle Trail - the 32 mile bike trail from Beal's Point in Folsom to "C" Street in Old Sacramento also passes through our campus.
4 Every season brings something wonderful but the Fall and Spring are my favorite on campus.

8 Our campus staff and friends stop everything to help wildlife - here a Gopher snake was "stuck" inside/under a campus service vehicle.
9 The snake most likely came from the levy area - seeking a warm place.
10 Mark (Facilities Management) and and Randy (Biological Sciences) to the rescue!
11 And the snake was returned to the levy.
