1 These are a dark gray earring pair by Miriam Haskell.
2 The pearls are mabe, and the tiny seed pearls match the large center pearl.
About 1 " across.
3 In excellent condition. No missing parts, and no green stuff. The earrings have the screw backs that clip, and they are marked as shown.

4 Coppola e Toppo is the maker of these glass earrings. There are six colors of blue here ranging from light blue to cobalt, running through a light turquoise color.
5 The earrings are 2 1/4" long, and the petals wiggle. Marked on both earrings.

6 The color and the size of the pieces are what make this set so wonderful. It was made in Czechoslovakia, and is so marked.
7 This pendant necklace is part of this fantastic set that was made in Czechoslovakia.
8 The set has a bright cobalt blue stone set in a gold color metal. Probably brass.
9 The necklace is long at 19" with a pendant drop length of 2 1/2". The bracelet is 7 1/4" long and has a push in clasp.

11 Here is a gorgeous topazy color Czech bracelet.
12 The bracelet is slightly oval, and is about 7 1/2" inside dimension. There is nothing missing here, and the filagree is in wonderful shape. It has a safety chain.

16 This is a necklace that I made. Gaspeite is a rare mineral found in few localities. It is found around nickel sulfide deposits and is named for the locality of Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada where it was originally found.
As a fairly recent discovery in 1966, this mineral has no known folk lore although it is mentioned that the Aborigine's used gaspeite to bring about good fortune. As a healing stone, it is thought to reduce stress and help with heart, gallbladder and lung problems. Metaphysically, it is thought to bring spirituality into everyday life.
17 This is a particularly fine strand of gaspeite, as the pale green to apple green color is flecked with the brown host rock. The green color in this strand is a deep apple green.
The beads are gaspeite, the findings are gold filled, and the spacers are brass.
The necklace is 17 1/2" long. The earrings are on french wires, and hang down an inch.
I bought some more of these beads in Tucson this year (2008) and the supply was low. I went back the next day to see what they had left, and every piece of gaspeite was gone. Done. No more to be had in the world. The source is in Australia, and until someone mines it....

28 This is an old DECO sterling piece probably done in the 20s or 30s. It would have been described as evening wear.
29 The necklace is 18 1/2" long, and has an elegant cobra chain. The whole piece is what I like to describe as soft silver. It is silky to the touch.

31 These are some incredible Lucite hoops. Also pictured in the book Plastic Bangles. These will go with that Lucite jewelry that is so popular these days.
32 The earrings are perfect, no chips or scratches, and the clip mechanism is sound. They are large, at 1 1/2" long, and 1 1/4" across. The walls are 3/8" thick.

The pear shaped stone is 20mm from top to point.
34 The ring is large, but it isn't top heavy. It stays put on your finger.

37 The large red jelly stones are jummy. Pulling the slide all the way down, the necklace is 25" of wearable length. You pull it over your head and adjust the slide to suit you.

94 This was interesting to me. It's Wedgwood, of course, but it is set in Mexican sterling and signed by CARMEN BECKMANN. Quite a combination. The brooch is signed with the Mexican sterling mark, the signature of Carmen Beckmann, and also WEDGEWOOD. Very clean and crisp, the brooch is substantial at 2 1/2" across.

97 Jomaz is the name on this set. It is a gorgeous combination of moonglow pale blue cabachons and aurora borealis stones.
98 All the stones are abs, and flash blue, yellow, pink, and even green at times. The clasp on the necklace is a fold over clasp, and really hard to see when closed.

136 The set is a wonderful shade of amethyst, and in pristine condition. The earrings are clips and are just under an inch across. The necklace is faceted, and the earrings are smoother, so it probably was not made as a set, but they go together beautifully.
137 Here is a gorgeous brooch and earring demi. The center stone in the brooch is about 3/4" across. All the stones in the set are rivoli. They have the points on the top, giving the whole stone a spining look.

161 Please click on this photo to see the gorgeous MATISSE copper and enamel set. The set is signed with only the Matisse signature, which dates the set to the early 1950's. In 1954 the Matisse/Renoir signature was used with the addition of the C for copywright.

The set is in magnificent condition with no chips of dings anywhere. This bracelet has a fold over clasp and is 7" long.

164 The is a Miriam Haskell necklace that is a wonderful design. Large Mabe pearls, and smaller ones on brass colored links. This one comes from Millie Petronzio, head designer for the Miriam Haskell company.

166 The necklace is long, at 39". It has a clasp, so can be worn doubled which puts the link pearls at the front of your neck.

183 The earrings are clips and they are just under 2" tall. All pieces are marked with the little V for Valentino. This is a later mark than the older Valentino.
