This guy is sterling and jade. He is 2 " across, and his little eyeballs are watching you. :)
A collectible, this mark says, Sterling, Newman's Silver Shop and Reno in the center.
This is a necklace that I made. Gaspeite is a rare mineral found in few localities. It is found around nickel sulfide deposits and is named for the locality of Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada where it was originally found.
As a fairly recent discovery in 1966, this mineral has no known folk lore although it is mentioned that the Aborigine's used gaspeite to bring about good fortune. As a healing stone, it is thought to reduce stress and help with heart, gallbladder and lung problems. Metaphysically, it is thought to bring spirituality into everyday life.
This is a particularly fine strand of gaspeite, as the pale green to apple green color is flecked with the brown host rock. The green color in this strand is a deep apple green.
The beads are gaspeite, the findings are gold filled, and the spacers are brass.
The necklace is 17 1/2" long. The earrings are on french wires, and hang down an inch.
I bought some more of these beads in Tucson this year (2008) and the supply was low. I went back the next day to see what they had left, and every piece of gaspeite was gone. Done. No more to be had in the world. The source is in Australia, and until someone mines it....
This is an old DECO sterling piece probably done in the 20s or 30s. It would have been described as evening wear.
This brooch is large at 3" by 3". The balls were tested positive for Bakelite with 409.
The whole piece is articulated....it moves when you do!
Belt or necklace. 30" long. In mint condition, this belt has deep sapphire colored stones, along with some ice blue stones between the sapphire ones and on the extender chain.
This could be worn as a necklace.
Circles necklace 18" long.
I'm not at all sure what this metal is....it is just silver colored metal circles. The circles are hammered, and the largest one is 2 5/8" in diameter. The widest part at the center neck is 4". The clasp is a simple S clasp.
Juliana Easter Egg brooch set.
The brooch is 2 1/2" in diameter and the clip earrings are 1 1/2" long.
The mark is a little worn, but still visable. The brooch is 2 1/4", and it is in excellent condition.#10
Here is one for your watch bracelet collection. It is a Waltham watch, and no, it doesn't run.
The face does say Waltham, and it did belong to my mom, who was raised in Waltham.
The only reason these books are available to you is that I have duplicates. I have each of these books in my collection and use them for research, or for therapy.

This was interesting to me. It's Wedgwood, of course, but it is set in Mexican sterling and signed by CARMEN BECKMANN. Quite a combination. The brooch is signed with the Mexican sterling mark, the signature of Carmen Beckmann, and also WEDGEWOOD. Very clean and crisp, the brooch is substantial at 2 1/2" across.
Jomaz is the name on this set. It is a gorgeous combination of moonglow pale blue cabachons and aurora borealis stones.
All the stones are abs, and flash blue, yellow, pink, and even green at times. The clasp on the necklace is a fold over clasp, and really hard to see when closed.
Here shown is one of the earring moonglow cabs.
The necklace is wearable at 15", and the earrings are 1 1/4" across. They are clips.
I took two photos of this set because it is sooo pretty. :) The stones are a light blue aurora borealis type.
This necklace pendant is by Norway's Aksel Holmsen. It is sterling and enamel.
The pendant is 1 1/4" long, and the chain is 12k gold filled and is 18" long.
The little squiggle identifies this as Askel's design. #9
This necklace is really hard to photograph. It is clear Lucite, and marked Hattie. The large beads on the necklace are these bubbly hearts.
The necklace has no clasp, but it is 31" long, and you can just pop it over your head.
You can see the little gold tag in the middle of all those Lucite bubbles. It says "Hattie" on it.
Chico's is the name on this necklace. It is a contemporary piece and is 20" long.
The pendant is rhinestones, enamel and black metal. The "chain" part is leather.
Signed Stigi in script on the back of one of the gold color metal squares. This frosted necklace looks to be from the 1970's or 80's to me.
The frosted Lucite squares are 5/8" and the gold squares are graduated down from 1 3/4".
The necklace has a wearable length of 18" and has a push in clasp. The a-symetrical necklace has one strand on one side, and two on the other.

Gorgeous photos in here...from the Bronze Age to Modern Age. The books are in excellent condition with the exception of some wear to the covers.
There are photos of jewels in here that we don't ordinarily see.
Not sure what to call this set, so I'm going with a feather. Perhaps a leaf design? In any case, it is a wonderful combination of colors.
The earrings are articulated. They will move with you. They are clips and are 2" long. The brooch is 3 5/8" long. A gorgeous combination of peridot, teal, and montana blue leaves on a light saphire stem.
This set is by Hobe...that surprised me when I saw the mark. The brooch is 2 1/8" across. The set is in mint condition.
The large round stones are rivoli style and have the fuchsia and peridot colors flashing inside.
Hard to see the clear beads on white isn't it? But if you click on this photo you will see how yummy this necklace is. It is Lucite, with a silver color push in clasp.
The necklace is in excellent condition, and is 29" long.
This glass necklace is 29" long, and will go around your neck twice. It has a barrel clasp, and around twice will be a choker length.
The set is a wonderful shade of amethyst, and in pristine condition. The earrings are clips and are just under an inch across. The necklace is faceted, and the earrings are smoother, so it probably was not made as a set, but they go together beautifully.
Here is a gorgeous brooch and earring demi. The center stone in the brooch is about 3/4" across. All the stones in the set are rivoli. They have the points on the top, giving the whole stone a spining look.
The brooch is 1 3/4" across, and the earrings are 1 3/4" long. They are clips.
The set is in excellent condition.
Price SOLD
A sweet little pink demi. The pin and earrings have green enamel on the leaves and the pink buds are glass with little rhinestone centers.
Not marked, the pin is 1 3/4" across, and the earrings are about one inch. The earrings are clips.
Please click on this photo to see the gorgeous MATISSE copper and enamel set. The set is signed with only the Matisse signature, which dates the set to the early 1950's. In 1954 the Matisse/Renoir signature was used with the addition of the C for copywright.
The design is called "Teardrop."
The set is in magnificent condition with no chips of dings anywhere. This bracelet has a fold over clasp and is 7" long.
The screwback earrings are 1 3/4" long, and the necklace is just over 16" long.
The is a Miriam Haskell necklace that is a wonderful design. Large Mabe pearls, and smaller ones on brass colored links. This one comes from Millie Petronzio, head designer for the Miriam Haskell company.
You can see that it is in mint condition, and has the Haskell signed hang tag at the clasp.
The necklace is long, at 39". It has a clasp, so can be worn doubled which puts the link pearls at the front of your neck.
Shown in the box, this set is by Van Dell. Very nice dainty set, in mint condition.
The necklace is wearable at 18", and the earrings are screwbacks. They are 3/4" tall.
A closeup of this cobalt color stone.
All three pieces are marked, and this mark states that it is 1/20th 12K gold filled.
This beauty is a chatelaine brooch by Leo Glass. It is a whopping 6 1/2" from top to bottom.
On the one side is a locket in fine working order.
This ring is sterling and has a fire agate stone in the center.
The ring is in excellent condition, and it is a size 7 1/4.
This is a yummy parure by Valentino.
The metal is a gold tone, and the stones are acrilic. The colors are fabulous! This cuff is 1 3/4" wide, it is hinged and is in an oval shape. It has a push in clasp. The walls at their widest, are 1/2".
The colors are red, blue, emerald, peridot, yellow, teal, orange, and sapphire.
The earrings are clips and they are just under 2" tall. All pieces are marked with the little V for Valentino. This is a later mark than the older Valentino.
The necklace is a collar with two end pieces that fold out to allow you to put it on. It lays beautifully on your neck.
