Wanda Fariss' 80th Birthday (April 21, 2009)****************************************
Wanda's 80th birthday was April 21st, 2009. Her birthday party was held June 7th hoping for warmer weather, and it was perfect, not too hot or cold. It was a small party put on by her daughter's Terri, Diane, and Robbin, with their families, and some close friends. Good food, friends, and family so we all enjoyed ourselves, and so did Mom.
Wanda's children: Larry, Terri, Diane, Marianne, Robbin & Dennis
Dennis and his wife Kendra live in Nebraska and couldn't make it, but hope to come out for a visit soon :)
Wanda's oldest son Larry passed away in 1965, and we still miss him very much today, knowing what a wonderful older brother he would have been.
Wanda's daughter and our beloved sister Marianne passed away in October of 1999. It can't possibly be almost 10 years...it still seems like yesterday, and sis do we miss you! You are here in our hearts and always will be.

Jodi, Jason, Jeremy, Rick, Teresa, Corey, Christopher, Holly
Wanda's Great Grandchildren are:
Christian, Isabel, Garrett, Kadence, Hayley, Kaylinn, Kylee, Zack, and Abby

We have so many photos of the Oregon beaches thru the years, but none of them digital. Will dig thru the negatives and see if I can get them put on a CD. But this is a start, with not the best camera, but it was beautiful at Cape Lookout on July 7th, 2009.

Sky photos (April 21st, 2005)******************
Pics are taken from our front porch, back yard, up in the apple orchard behind the house, or down by the garden. We have one taken by my sister Terri of the Christmas Eve moon 2007, from Portland. These pics range from 1991 to 2008. Photos have not been re-touched in any way except to remove items that take away from the view of the sky.

Our place (November 18, 2004)******************
Photos we've taken since we got the digial camera. Most of the flowering trees and shrubs bloom in May, so for a few weeks we've got a colorful yard, and the scent of flowers is everywhere.

Fernhill Wetlands (July 21st, 2005)*****************************
Fernhill Wetlands is a favorite place of ours, and it was a very special place for my sister Marianne, who spent a lot of time there. She passed away in 1999 and we all miss her. Sometimes when we're walking around the wetlands it's as if she's walking along beside us again.
It's only a few miles from our house, and it's a good 2 1/2 mile walk around it. Even though the dogs have to be kept on leashes, they love it. There's numerous varieties of birds, including eagles, geese, ducks, blue herons, swallows, sandpipers, and red wing black birds.
