Includes DTV Antenna Specs (and measured Performance), measured Balun Loss, measured RF Splitter Loss & RG-6 Cable Loss Specs.
Also includes ATSC/NTSC Tuner Specs and Preamp Specs, plus a DTV Signal Overload Calculator and a Third Order Intermod Calculator.
UPDATE (24Mar2009): Updated DTV Interference Calculator Rev C.
UPDATE (26Mar2010): Added CECB Features List - mod 26Mar2010.
UPDATE (14Aut2011): Updated DTV Interference Calculator - Rev F.
UPDATE (12Sep2011): Updated DTV Preamp Signal Overload Calculator - Rev L to add VHF specific calculations.
UPDATE (25Sep2011): Updated "Preamp Comparison Chart - Rev A", due to W-G change to HDP-269 Max Input Spec.
UPDATE (13Mar2012): Updated "DTV Preamp Signal Level Overload Calculation - Rev M". Fixed typo in W-G specs for 19 dB Gain Preamps - 99.4 dBuV vice 89.5 dBuV. Calculations not affected.
UPDATE (21Nov2012): Added five Spread Sheets (*.xls or *.xlsx) with Raw Data from various 4nec2 runs that were used to prepare the Antenna Performance Charts used throughout this website. If marked with one or more X's, the data has either been superseded by an alternative run and/or it might have an unspecified PROBLEM...so ignore it.
UPDATE (1May2013): In my Modification to solidsignal's Preamp Comparison Chart, corrected AP-2870 Max Input to reflect (29Jan2010) update to Winegard Preamp specs.
UPDATE (10May2013): Added Interior Photos of Winegard AP-8700 and HDP-269 Preamps.
UPDATE (25Jul2013): Updated "DTV Preamp Signal Level Overload Calculation - Rev N" to reflect new W-G LNA200's ASSUMED 20 dB improvement in UHF Max Input compared to AP8700.
Presumably for Two Strong Input Signals. Max Signal Input and Output would need to be DERATED: 3 Signals: -3.6 dB 4 Signals: -5 dB 5 Signals: -6 dB 6 Signals: -7 dB 8 Signals: -8 dB Ignore signals more than 6 dB below the Strongest.
