Wind Cheetah Hyper Sport
These images are pics of my Windcheetah Hypersport. They begin with the construction of the Hype at AVD in England and continue  through the build up of the trike upon delivery. Finally, the pictures include the various alterations made to the trike since its first build up.

Enjoyed looking at the pics.
I have Windcheetah No: 28 built by Mike Burrows. Over the years I have done mainly long distance touring mileage and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I found this to be a very educational presentation on the Wind Cheetah. I am Interested in the Cheetah because it is very light and my disc problems get worse when ever I lift my Trice QNT to put it into my van. With bags, headrest, fenders and other stuff it weighs over 40 lbs. With similar equipment (no fairings) the Cheetah should be 8 lbs lighter. I noticed that you sold your Cheetah recently and I wanted to find out your opinion about it as a trike for general use. I am not into racing and I am 77 years old. Thanks for your time. WC Hypersport with front fairing
Here's what my Hype looked like after all was first assembled. (The flames are a decal which is easily removable, but they do make the trike go faster!)

WC Hypersport without fairing
The front fairing is very easy to install and remove. Takes only a few minutes.

WC Hypersport with wheel discs
The carbon wheel discs are easy to install and remove. They increase the speed of the trike by about 10% (for the same amount of energy output) once you are over 18-20 mph. They also look pretty cool!

WC Hypersport with wheel discs and fairing
With the wheel discs and front fairing the trike is remarkably fast. Certaily the fastest trike I have ever ridden.

Garrie Hill aboard the Hype
Here is a pic of the mad bike scientist Garrie Hill on the Hype. Garrie assembled my trike and made not only the carbon wheel discs but many of the other special carbon components.
