Bob Sharp Z Club Show
What an amazing day! Our caravan to the Bob Sharp Z Club started out at Paul's house- Paul drove his mint 280Z, while Rich (300ZX Z31) and Jim (300ZX Twin Turbo) also showed up bright and early. If a 280ZX had been there, we would have had all generations of Z's represented- At pre-determined spots on Route 287 we met up with Rey (300ZX Conv't) and Gus (aka "ZForever"- 350Z) - they brought our caravan total to 6 Z's - it was defintely a sight to see... we got plenty of thumbs up's- Oh - Peter was part of the caravan for a few seconds- as he blew past us at about 90mph -
After about 110 miles of pure bliss, we arrived at Bob Sharp Nissan - there were a bunch of cars there- probably around 40 or 50 I would guess... there were a ton of 350Z's - but oddly enough, they were all chrome silver, silverstone, or black (the dealer's car)... there was a Z in the showroom too - also chrome silver - it would have been nice to see some other colors (although there was a daytona blue R/C car...). My350Z.com members who were there:
rouxeny (CS touring), vicmar90 (CS touring), DmitryZ (SS touring), Zforever (SS track), NSANY (CS Performance), Me- ethan84ae(CS performance), Gagetman - (CS touring frost & Z3 stickers) and a few others....???
The New Jersey Z Car Club was extremely well represented for this show- in total I think about 20 members were there- many took honors in their respective classes. There are a few group photos below- I hope we included everyone...
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to talk too much with everyone - Barry scamed me into judging... all well.... that was fun too!
After the show, myself, Rey, Gus, Dimitry & Barry went across the street to chat & have pizza...of course we took a few more pictures of the cars...Gus let me play around with his nav system- damn that thing is cool...
On the way home, we spotted a nice Ferrari 360- sweet!!!
As with every Z event I have attended, everyone was super nice- a good time was had by all. I hope to hang out w/ you guys again some time!
