Fran's Little Leo @ Killen's (December 6, 2003)Call name "Leo". This handsome little guy was born 9-26-2003. Black/White/Tan/Calico. Mini 13" 14# OFA Patella # RAT-PA274/12M/P-NOPI
Dam - Bonnie Blue Sire - Chipper
He comes to us from Fran's Rat Terriers in Tennessee. When I saw his newborn photo I was hooked & when I went to see him in person I was sure he needed to come live with me.
Leo has become quite interested in squirrels, and is very good at barking at them once he's spotted one. Leo is a neutered much loved pet.

Killen's Tubby (January 15, 2002)(liver) Chocolate /White /Tan Nick name "Tubby Freckle Snapper" Tubby's a funny little guy. Always busy, always doing something to get attention. When he's pleased with himself he prances like a Tennessee Walking Horse. (Tubby is a neutered pet/not a stud.)
Our precious Tubby passed over the "Rainbow Bridge" on Christmas Eve 2003, due to complications from a sudden onset of pnuemonia. Even though he was taken to the Vet immediately following the appearance of his first symptoms & was treated promptly, he died just a couple of days later. He was one of those very special pets - so animated, so devoted, so unconditionally loving - no words can adquately express the depth of our feelings for this fine little guy or the loss that we feel. He is sorely missed.
"We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made." -M. Acklam
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until at length she is only a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky meet and mingle with each other. Then someone at my side exclaims, "There, she's gone!"
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large in hull and mast and spar as she was when she left my side, and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of her destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says, "She's gone," there are other eyes watching for her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "There, she comes!"
And that is dying.
