You are cordially invited to the Arthritis Foundation's 12th Annual International Wine Tasting on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. For the connoisseur in you, visit the exclusive Connoisseur's Room for a special hour of select wines from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Partakers will sample rare and exotic wines.

Let your taste buds explore as you enjoy a variety of hand-selected wines from the around the world.


We will be serving a wide array of international wines.
For the experienced wine drinker, an exclusive Connoisseur's Room will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., prior to the main event. Wine lovers will be able to sample the hard-to-find wines during this hour. (Please note there is limited availability in the Connoisseur's Room.)
Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, international cheeses and desserts, raffle*, silent auction items, beer, champagne and coffee tasting.
Your new favorite wines will be available for order.
*You don't need to be present to win.

5K run and walk along Milwaukee’s beautiful lakefront. The Run/Walk to Irish Fest raises awareness of the nation’s leading cause of disability, while raising funds to prevent, control and cure arthritis! Join Honorary Chair Johnny V of Mo’s Restaurants, along with 1,500 of your friends and neighbors in support of the Arthritis Foundation. Each participant will receive free admission for the day into Irish Fest, the world’s largest Irish festival, courtesy of Milwaukee Irish Fest!

It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 46 million men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis. Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team.  The global spectrum of wines will be bottled up in to one grand event at the Arthritis Foundation’s 11th Annual International Wine Tasting presented by ACURA of BROOKFIELD on Sunday, March 9th, 2008 at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. Not only will you be able to experience fine wines from around the world, but you can also savor hors d’ oeuvres, international cheeses and decadent desserts from Nehring Family Markets. In addition to delicious food and drink, you will also have the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items and take part in exciting raffles featuring an 18 karat white gold diamond pendant from Rohr Jewelers and a wine storage unit from U-line Corporation.

The Advocacy Summit is an opportunity for advocates to rally together as one voice on Capitol Hill. You meet personally with your Members of Congress and their staff to share personal stories to help them understand how arthritis affects your every day life and the importance of cosponsoring the Arthritis Prevention, Control & Cure Act.
