2007 Toy Run
1. 2007 Toy Run  (December 2, 2007)
We had Ross, John & Rhonda, Vince + Audrey and new Girl friend Lawann, David and wife, Nate and My
self. We all had a good lunch and a good time. I Love the look of David's Jackpot. I think there was 7000 + bike over all. I heard one estimate of 10,000
but not sure about that.

Rock King Ride
2. Rock King Ride  (August 18 2007)
Great ride and company....We hit heavy traffic between our fountain stop and Pueblo that left us standing on the highway for 40 minutes under 90 degree heat, light rain when we got to Bishops Castle and we had to pull over at Cracker Barrel in Colorado Springs for an hour when the serious rain hit! All in all a fantastic journey with all the elements there.

Nikko and Tyler Benefit Ride
5. Nikko and Tyler Benefit Ride  (May 12, 2007)
There are few thing more rewarding than giving back to someone truly in need. My hope is if you made the ride that you feel the same way and if you didn't that some where along the road you get to experience it. The boys are all smile and were driven to each stop along the way, there final destination was an escort by Victory riders. Again everyone road so well and followed all the rules of riding in a large group.

Four Canyons Ride
6. Four Canyons Ride  (April 28th, 2007)
With snow earlier in the week we were worried our first ride wouldn't happen. Ed had mapped out a great route and took the time to check and make sure the roads were clear the day before the event. GForce provided a breakfast of various burritos and Jay even took the day off the floor to ride with us. We loved this group of riders and hope to see them more often through out the year.

4th Annual Baggs Run
9. 4th Annual Baggs Run  (August 20, 2005)
The 4th Annual Baggs (WY) Run is now officially over.  Even the rain, hail, and snow could not damper the fun and enthusiasm...The cold however, was another matter.

Great ride plan "cruise director" A.J.!  The weather doesn't always cooperate, but Sunday was beautiful...for some :-)

Fantastic day and great company on the ride. We encountered a bit of rain, some loose gravel, all in all perfect and it was 297 miles in total. Met some great new riders including Mathew and Marie Burk on an 8Ball, Doug and Michele Foster on a Kingpin and Tom and Michele Gebhart on a 1100 Vstar.

Cripple Creek Rally 2006
11. Cripple Creek Rally 2006  (August 19, 2006)
The weather was excellent for the Annual Cripple Creek Rally.  Riders suited up in their rain gear leaving Colorado Springs, but the rain soon cleared as we approached Penrose.  We took a back road through Gypsum and Florence to Canon City, then up Hwy 9 to Guffy for a break.  Sitting on the outside patio soaking up the Colorado sun...how good can it get?

The Cripple Creek Rally was well attended, but not so many Victory riders...  Always a good place to people watch, check out bikes, and drop a little coin in the magic vending machines :-)

Victory Power Riders Meet
12. Victory Power Riders Meet  (August 15, 2005)
the greatest people ride Victory's and none are finer than those we meet from Wisconcin. Jeff and Marla were exceptional and opened their home to all those that participated for dinner. We took the riders to the top of Mount Evans 13000 ft, and stopped at Echo Lake. The weather was great with teh exception of the snow! yes SNOW at the top.

14. 2006 Rocky Mtn Freedom Rally  (June 25, 2006)
These are some pictures from the 4th Annual Rocky Mountain Victory Freedom Rally.  For 2006, the event was held in Montrose and Durango, CO.  Over 300 Victory riders attended and Victory provided good food, good entertainment, good roads, and great weather.  Ok, the last two were coincidental, but nice just the same...

Lake City , Colorado
16. Lake City , Colorado  (May 27-28)
Nice ride! 315 miles on way and most of it running parallel to whitewater. Nice weather throughout the ride. The limo was provided by A&A Steakhouse and wine bar as a coutesy and after a long days ride was a pleasure to have. More deer than you can count on two hands, with one almost goring herself on the caddy's horns. A herd of Buffalo and miles of open road and twisties.

3rd Annual Spring BBQ
17. 3rd Annual Spring BBQ  (August 21, 2005)
The 3rd Annual Spring BBQ was held at Vince's house in south Denver area.  Vince has a great location, with plenty of parking (next year lets fill the drive) and a garage to keep the sun off your back.  As a big bonus, Vince knows how to make some BBQ ribs.

If you didn't go, you missed a great time...

VRA Scoot n Blues BBQ -- 2006
18. VRA Scoot n Blues BBQ -- 2006  (20-May-2006)
The first (hopefully) annual Scoot n Blues BBQ was held at the Sedalia Bar & Grill, in Sedalia, CO.  Numerous riders came from the Colorado Springs area, Castle Rock, Conifer, and surrounding areas.

It was a great day, starting out in Colorado Springs at the Garden of the Gods Visitor's Center.  Not a bad backdrop for a few photos of Victory owners/riders and their bikes.

A nice ride through the Garden of the Gods, up Ute Pass on US-24 to Woodland Park.  Then, north through Deckers, Pine, and Pine Junction where the riders converged with riders from Castle Rock & Conifer.  After a bit of rest, we road twisties out of the mountains to the prairie for the BBQ.

Check out www.c-vra.com/c-vravideo/firsttwo.wmv for a nice video.  NOTE: You should use broadband, as the video consumes a lot of bandwidth...dial up connections will be too slow...

2nd Annual Texas Tour -- 2006
19. 2nd Annual Texas Tour -- 2006  (April 20-26, 2006)
Four Victory riders, led by "Tour Director" Ed Jones, from Colorado headed south for the 2nd Annual Texas Tour.  The 1st Annual was completed by two Victory riders in 2005.

This trip covered great roads of Texas from south of Wichita Falls, east to Austin, and southwest through the Hill Country.  Then down to Big Bend country, with a stopover in Marfa (to see the "Marfa Lights") and into Big Bend National Park.

We also visited the Austin Victory dealer to get some needed supplies.

Great food, good friends, great roads, and lots of desert were the order for this 2,500 mile road trip.

2005 End of Season - Grand Lake
22. 2005 End of Season - Grand Lake  (September 10, 2005)
The end of season overnight ride was quite successful, with 26 people participating in the ride, and about 20 staying the night at the Inn at Grand Lake.

Sunday morning there was frost on the bikes, fog rising from the lake (the native Americans called it "Spirit Lake") and a beautiful sunny clear day awaited us.

Plan to join us next year!

Cripple Creek Salute to Veterans 2005
23. Cripple Creek Salute to Veterans 2005  (August 20, 2005)
This year's Salute to the American Veteran Rally in Cripple Creek was the biggest ever.  We had a great ride in, but missed the beginning of the big parade.  Lots of people, bikes, food, and the skies were remarkably friendly....over Cripple Creek.  The clouds in every direction were another story.  Many got soaked, as I did, leaving the historic community.
