We sure wish that one of these darlings could call our home his/her 4 ever home! Newfs are the only breed for us since our 13 yr love affair with our Sophie girl. I also had my own pet sitting business for about 6 yrs and specialized in the large breeds. I cared for 3 Newfies in addition to my own and was the treasurer for the local Kennel Club. We used to sponsor a May Days pet show and I always had the pleasure of Sophie and the other 3, plus some new ones. It was the highlight of the day........the kids and adults were mesmerized with the Newfies.
I'll never forget when my Sophie was gently playing with a teacup poodle. Some people were visibly worried at the size difference and quickly realized they were fine together!
