I have a late 30's early 40's hat or coat/dress pin with 2 prongs in the back. It's a tropical bird on a green limb with 2 flowers. The long feather on the bird is yellow. 1 BIG BIRD. Fabulous deco-look fantasy bird clip, more than 3 inches long. Gold wash and sterling with pave rhinestones and enameled eye. This piece is in Harrice Miller's book 2nd edition pg 161.
2 Du Jay enamel bird on a branch. Note the jewel-tone glass beads and tips of branch--both typical Du Jay attributes.
3 Du Jay bird with pearls (white and gray tones). Wonderful enamel and pave work. Typical branch ending.
4 Du Jay two birds under an umbrella. Note that the branch end is similar to many of the floral pieces. Some have attributed this pin to Trifari, but I believe that it is Du Jay.
5 French sterling bird pin and earrings set with marcasites and onyx.
6 Catherine Popseco Deco style bird pin. Modern manufacture.
7 Reja big bird with a Deco look. Pin is over 4" long.
8 [Sold] Reja enameled bird with pearl encrusted belly.

13 Ivory pin of a dove and flowers, marked Crystal Palace. The Great Exhibition of 1851 in London was conceived to symbolize the industrial, military and economic superiority of Great Britain, and was held in the Crystal Palace.
14 Essex crystal bluebird on a gold stickpin. Some damage to the crystal.
Superb turquoise necklace with motifs of hearts, flowers with pearl centers and birds (with ruby eyes), originally gilt over silver. Marked 800D.
16 CoroCraft Sterling enameled toucan.
17 Two versions of the CoroCraft Sterling willet -- the heads are on springs and tremble. This came in 3 color combinations and the toucan in the prior picture did also.
