Exhaust headers and intake manifold

Headers and intake, painted with red 'ceramic' coating. Hearers turn black in first ten minute drive. Intake looks good, I like the contrast.

Note the loop in the center intake runner, tried tomake it nearly as long as the end runners.

With the stock B&B carter. Made NO gain on the dyno over the stock breathings system. On the street, wound up in 3rd gear, it made two inches of intake vacuum. Waaaay tooo much.

Carter BBD 2bbl off of a 318, about '78. I'm hoping for 65 hp to the ground. Feels like I made it, but haven't had it back to The Dyno Shop.

2bbl, with air filter. Note the fabricated adapter from the one bbl manifold to the 2bbl. Works OK.
