"Cinque Terre" Ligurian Sea, North Italy
Imagine the Azzure Ligurian Sea in North Italy - the rocky cliffs that jutt out of the water (2000-3000 ft) surrounded by lush grenery & vineyards. In between that natural landscape, is situated five little quaint fishing villages (called Cinque Terre) named Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza & Monterosso Al Mare. I went in late January and so it was cold and I saw snow on top of the mountains. I stayed in Riomaggiore. I have to say this is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever gone to in all of my travels. Thanks for your visit to my photo album and I hope you find my camera 'work' satisfying.

Houses are literally built into the rocks and notice how they are all using a certain vibrant earthy color pattern

cool pics. The rugged coastline reminded me of Tintin comics. The largest town reminded me of a scene from the movie 'Ronin' (with  Robert de Niro)
