Coral Street January 2005
Made two lovely dives at Coral Street Cove on Monterey Bay on a sunny winter day. The ocean was calm after big swells earlier in the week; the viz was still a bit silty from being stirred up. Some of the kelp had been torn out by the winter storms, but life was still abundant on the reef. We spotted 22 different fish species on the first dive, 23 on the second dive. Notable fish not photographed include white seaperch, monkeyface prickleback eels, topsmelt, senoritas, tubesnout, reef surfperch, kelp surfperch, cabezon and opaleye. | Date(s): January 22, 2005.
