<b>Stewart Reflex-Deflex Longbow</b>
1. Stewart Reflex-Deflex Longbow  (July 27, 2005)
Stewart Reflex-Deflex Longbow

This is by far the best shooting longbow I have ever shot! Reflex - Deflex design, 16" handle section, long working limbs bend to the handle and no stack. Zero, not even a trace of handshock, unmatched performance and smoothness, center shot sight window, handles wrapped in buckskin and laced down the front, i've spent a tremendous amount of time and patience on the design and its performance. This longbow will and does without a doubt outperform most recurves made today, including my recurve and its incredibly quiet! No string noise (critters don't jump the string), a common problem with recurves because of string slap. This longbow speaks for itself in cast and performance. Tradition at it's best! Perfection, patience, experience, locator grip standard, the point ability, and this longbow is excellent, you can shoot this bow in the dark without feeling for the grip or hand placement.

2. Stewart Longbow
Tradition, pure and simple. Elegant to the eye. Feather light to carry. Pleasing to the wrist. Fast in flight. A hard hitting, traditional styled longbow. Narrow limbs with deep core, 4 pair laminations (2 pair parallel and 2 pair tapered). This to combine a smooth sweet draw, bend tot he handle and little if any hand shock, with very reliable performance.

The grips have a slight dish in the handle for perfect hand alignment. Our arrow rests are unique. They incorporate a concave, convex style. Only a slight portion of the arrow touches the rest aiding in arrow flight and performance. The handles are wrapped in buckskin and laced down the front.

Stewart SL (Slammer) Longbow
3. Stewart SL (Slammer) Longbow  (August 29, 2005)
Two years in design and improvement. This is as radical as it gets and is still considered a longbow. We went to a radical limb and riser section for cast and performance. Riser sections are from 20" to 24" risers, depending on bow length. Extremely fast and flat shooting, there is not a trace of hand shock with these longbows. They are made to take the task of lightweight carbon arrows. The limbs are made wider for longevity and decrease bow noise. Starting January 4, 2004, all recurves and longbows are cut to center, have standard locator grip, and fast flight string. They also include buckskin grip and epoxy finish.

SL (Slammer) 3-Piece Take Down Longbow
4. SL (Slammer) 3-Piece Take Down Longbow  (August 29, 2005)
Stewart SL (Slammer) 3-piece take down longbow

New for 2004 - 16” or 18” riser section, depending on bow length.  Bolt on limbs, two alignment pins, standard locator grip, and Diamondwood riser section.  We went to a 3 piece longbow because of bow noise – a hunting bow needs to be quiet!!  Also the 3 piece gives you the option for lighter or heavier limbs, have the riser custom fitted, and change limbs to target or hunting limbs.  This is the same radical limb design as the one piece SL, and as quiet.  Compact enough to fit in to your arrow case.  The truth – a 2 piece take down longbow will never be as quiet as a 1 piece longbow.  This is the reason we decided to build 3 piece take downs.  They are cut to center, standard locator grip, and buckskin grip.  A fast flight string, and epoxy finish complete this impressive longbow.

5 year warranty  $850.00
Extra limbs  $400.00
Optional bamboo limbs  $500.00

One Piece Recurve
5. One Piece Recurve  (July 27, 2005)
Stewart One Piece Recurve

This Bow is unique compared to all other recurves. When I designed this bow, I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted a recurve with a narrow, light handle (longbow style) and a deep core (three pair laminations). I built in graceful curves and beautiful tips. Result, hard hitting, super speed, excellent cast, featherlight to carry, very rugged and super eye appeal. Concave, convex rest is center shot with large sight window. Handle design to shoot right over your hand off the shelf. This is a first class recurve you won't want to put down. The locator grip comes standard.

Lengths:
One Piece recurve 59", 60", 61"
Available up to 70# at 28"
String:
Hand twisted two color Flemish Fast-Flight

Limb Core:
Maple, Actionwood, Red Elm, Hackberry
