Taking Custom to the Next Level
As the number of custom bowyer’s continue to increase, a select few still find ways to offer that little extra flare, taking their art to the next level. One of those individuals is Leon Stewart, of Stewart’s Archery.
A full-time bowyer for the past 17 years, Leon has continued to step up his game each year with new designs and options that provide a truly custom bow. Customers can chose from an array of exotic woods, stunning limb veneers, checkered grips and his newest option…silver inlays!
Each year Leon’s bows are becoming more and more unique and personal, and he welcomes individuals to come up with their own ideas. Silver inlays can be as subtle as a pair of crossed arrows or simply the owner’s initials. He also receives orders requesting fine silver wire inlay and unique symbols such as the horseshoe inlay he recently completed for a lady in New Jersey. Leon Stewart, a bowyer who has definitely taken the word “custom” to the next level.
