Sterling silver Japanese 6-2 necklace. This one was a bear to make, but it sure came out nice. :)
This stunner of a necklace combines sterling silver Byzantine chains with deep red Siam Swarovski crystal drops.
Having begun to dabble in polymer clay, I made this focal pendant to go with a sterling silver box chain.
I experimented with combining weaves, and came up with this sterling silver necklace using European 4-1 (the flat parts) and Romanov segments (with the beads).
A lovely and delicate necklace incorporating faceted garnets, freshwater pearls, and sterling silver Byzantine chain segments.
Dragonscale is one of my favorite weaves, especially with a combination of sterling silver and anodized niobium. The scale effect is heightened by the color, which is especially vibrant with these blue-purple rings. The larger sterling rings are 20awg 3/16", and the inner niobium rings are 20awg 1/8".

This bracelet, using light blue anodized niobium for the inner rings, has a much more subtle coloration than the other two. "All three are beautiful. T..." "I have always wanted to tr..." "The "scale" effe..." View Comments...
A colorful array of sterling silver and anodized niobium Dragonscale pendants.
A sterling silver Dragonscale pendant, hung on a sterling snake chain.
Japanese 12-2 pendant in sterling silver and burgundy enameled copper rings.
This fun flowery pendant is made with sterling silver and peacock blue anodized niobium rings.
These sterling silver earrings combine three units of the Romanov weave, a variant of Byzantine. The top and bottom units are woven in 24awg 5/64" rings (which are really small) around a 3mm firepolished bead. The middle unit uses 22awg 3/32" rings and a 4mm FP bead. "I love these.....have got ..." View Comments...
This pair, which reminds me of chandelier earrings, uses a Romanov unit in 22awg 3/32" rings with a 4mm firepolished bead. The Byzantine dangles are woven in 24awg 5/64" and end in 3mm (the outer two) and 4mm (the middle one) FP beads. "Wow, Theresa--these are aw..." "HiTeresa, you continue to ..." View Comments...
This sultry choker is made with 20awg 1/8" burgundy enameled copper rings in European 4-1.
I used some fuzzy velvet cord in the back to make the choker adjustable. It's also quite comfy. You can just barely see the Swarovski crystals at the end of the cords.
This ornament won third place in the 2004 Creative Wire Jewelry maille ornament contest. The maille is all Half Persian 4-1, using three sizes of rings (20awg, 22awg, and 24awg). Clear Swarovski crystals add extra sparkle. I was inspired by the legends of the Christmas spiders, who wove beautiful webs in honor of the Christ child.
I've had a great time making these Half Persian 4-1 wrapped cabochon pendants. The entire collection can be seen here and here.
This bracelet features black onyx cabochons wrapped in sterling silver Half-Persian 4-1.
Another design using stone cabochons; this one has two sizes of carnelian cabs and three sizes of 14k gold-filled Half Persian 4-1 chains.
The amazing Fullmetal Alchemist chainmaille inlay. :) Titanium and dark blue anodized titanium 18swg 3/16" rings in European 4-1 weave. I designed the inlay using the IGP program. This patch contains around 2000 rings, and it took me around 8-10 hours to weave. It's currently residing in the maille coat I'm working on.
Here's the progress on my coat as of the end of August 2005. As you can see I have a long way to go. :)
October 2005: It's a... cape!
May 2006: Hey, it looks kind of like a shirt now.
June 2006: Not quite done yet, but at least it could pass as a coat now. :) "You are an amazing person ..." View Comments...
This inlay was a gift for a friend who is a big fan of the anime show One Piece. (It's about pirates... who wear straw hats.) It includes brass, titanium, and bright and anodized aluminum rings. I framed the inlay using 14g titanium wire, and twisted together two lengths of 16g copper for the "rope" twining around the frame.
Anime inspiration strikes again: This inlay is the banner of the Amestris military in the show Fullmetal Alchemist. It's made from 18swg 5/32" bright and anodized aluminum rings.
This inlay was a gift for friends of mine; it represents the Takeda mon worn by the character Jin in the anime show Samurai Champloo. It's made with 20awg 1/8" enameled copper rings.
A coaster-sized inlay of the Adult Swim logo, in black and silvered enameled copper rings.
Sterling silver Byzantine necklace made with 20awg 1/8" rings.

14k gold-filled and indigo anodized niobium Byzantine necklace in 20awg 1/8" rings. (The gold came out a bit orange in the photo, somehow.)
A glass bowl covered in a net of bronze Byzantine web.
Sterling silver Turkish Round bracelet in 20awg 1/8" rings. This is Byzantine's triplicate cousin.
A Turkish Round bracelet in 14k gold-filled 20awg 1/8" rings, with a special handmade clasp.
The hook and loop closure findings were specially made with three loops to go with the weave. They're based on a design posted by Desert Rhino on The Ring Lord forum.
