The Fall Educational Forum: Climate Change - Local, Personal and Philanthropic Responses, was held on October 19, 2006 at the 2100 Building. The event was attended by 54 members and guests, who heard from four speakers: KC Golden, Policy Director of Climate Solutions; Philip Mote, PhD, Principal and Research Scientist with Climate Impacts Group & Professor at the University of Washington; Steve Nicholas, Director of the City of Seattle’s Office of Sustainability and Environment; Maggie Walker, Chair of the Bullitt Foundation. The panelists explored the issues surrounding climate change and empowered the audience to face these challenges with action.
