1948 Wz48 Tokarev TT (7.62x25Tok) Adopted in 1948 as the Wz48, this is a Polish mfg copy of the Soviet TT33 Tokarev pistol. The original guns, between 1948-1950 were marked FB for Radom with the serial & date of mfg & the grips were marked FB & WP, after 1950 they were marked w/the Communist code of 11 in an oval and the grips were unmarked straight serrated grips. |

1948 WZ48 (.22cal) The Wz48 .22 cal trainer, earlier examples had an "archer" on the chamber as a marking, after the Communists solidified their control of the government the markings were changed to the 11 in an oval this marking is believed to indicate Radom mfg. This album contains pics of 3 Wz48's, a 1949 early pattern, & 2 later guns, a 1954 & a 1956. |
