5301 57th Street, the site of my earliest memories
My Gramps, checking out Darcy's doll on Christmas Eve 1966.
Easter morning, in the back of my grandfather's truck, with my sister and cousins.
It's us again.
Easter morning, with my all-time favorite stuffed animal, Carl the Duck.
After getting my tonsils out, June 1, 1972.
My mom brought me this awesome doll. Her pony tail would grow, then by turning a button on her belly, the hair would recede to a little bob again. Bitchin'.
Not feeling too well after my tonsilectomy.
Show and Tell at kindergarten.
Showing off my tea set game at kindergarten in April 1972. My Granny and Gramps bought me the game after I dearly and sincerely begged for it.
My grandmother, my sister and me at Christmas time.
My mom, Murphy the Cat, me and my sister at Christmas time, 1970.
My cousin, Sheryl, and me on Christmas Eve 1970.
The world's coolest bike ... a windshield and an attached wagon. Is it any surprise it was stolen soon after the Christmas morning when this picture was taken?

I mean, really, is this not the coolest bike?
My sister, my Mom, and me on Christmas Eve, 1973. I thought my Mom looked so glamorous in those rhinestone glasses!
My cousin, Kris, Sheryl, with the doll over her face, my sister Darcy with a scowl in the background, and me, just happy to have a doll.
Checking out my sister's new clothes, Christmas 1974.
Me, December 25, 1974.
Boy, did I want this radio. Isn't it happening?
Back row: Kristine, Grandma, and Darcy. Front row: Me and Sheryl. Christmas 1975. I think I look a little like Hannah in this picture.
At Donner Lake, one of my favorite places, in June 1973. I loved this bathing suit! My mom bought it for me, I believe for my birthday, and it had a little pocket to hold my coins for the snack bar.
I have ALWAYS loved to fish, only giving up my beloved pasttime when it was clear that I really shouldn't be torturing animals for sport. But dang. I sure do love it. Me, June 1973.
