Seemed very open to filming. Payment would likely be in a donation form. Discussed prep & wrap days. not discuss specifics of fee range. Issue for them would likely be the back-log of donations created by days of inactivity.
This is the sorting center were donated cloths come into to be sorted and then distributed to their stores throughout the city. Roughly 100,000 bags come in monthly. Its mostly filled with racks and bags of cloths. The facility employs a large number of handicapped and disabled people. |

Last year their offices were scouted by us, they said (or some one from the show came-by to ask about their offices at least). Office not pictured.
Larry is quite concerned about filming upsetting this production day, and is only comfortable with interior photography after hours (3:30pm to 6am - work starts at 7am). A friend had a bad experience when a shoot filmed at their residential property. He doesn't care about exterior shoot, not of issue.
To paraphrase: "Look you threw out some number(*10K/day), but it cost me about 30 to 40K to operate daily, and whatever you offer me isn't going to make me want to mess with that and possibly piss-off my customers. But if you can give me assurances that you'd enter only after 3:30pm and be out by 6am and not have it impact my following production day, then I'd be more interested. If you can do Saturday, that would be great." Larry started like a real hard-egg, but softened. |
