Sean, Pat's son, works there.

This is where empty beer bottles from the cruise ships and other businesses Phoenix Beverages serves are sorted, broken down and shipped out for melting. This area is considerably more flexible than their facility near Atlantic Avenue (see Album). Inside, it does smell a bit like stale beer, but for a recycling facility is pretty clean. they maybe able order(clean up) space for us, but if there is a cruise ship scheduled to port, lots of empties come in.

Did not get a price from them specifically on this area, but was given the strong impression that it would be much reduced than their other facility.

Greg and Pat described themselves as film friendly, but they want to keep the facility as a 'premium location' -> hence they price daily 'somewhere in the teens'. but different areas they price differently, (ie interior & exterior have different prices). The further out onto the water, (labled 3rd division in photos) the easier filming becomes and the more flexible the price. Previsouly had The Adjustment Bureau, PanAm wanted to use it as a recurring location in the series, but they were inable to reach a deal.

Pat told me we could have someone run over the roof. They really like action sequences (or have done alot of them there).

The piers are designated Homeland Security Sites as they are international piers. Meaning that additional security personelle must be staffed in the event of a shoot.

Early in the week is easier.
