- Need to talk further with Angel tomorrow. He had a lot going on today and asked me to come scout tomorrow, but convinced him let me up to the space today, so I shot it. He may also get me into an office on another floor
- Most of the building is private psychiatrist offices, they are not interested.
- Needs to check the schedule, but thinks not much is going on the week of shooting.


- Construction site is a New School project
- Will be speaking to somebody from the New School tomorrow, about  two other buildings on the block.

- 74 5th Ave - No filming
- 78 5th Ave - They would have us, but fire escapes block view of construction site. Roof offers nice view of site though.

- 12 story building, elevator has 13 stops
- only working elevator on site.
- Work is progressing quickly, so things will look different a month from now.
- Some floors are already sheetrocked, some are just studs.
- Very active site, and tight in some places. I shot what would be the most open space to shoot in.
- Willing to work with us, but concerned about having to shut down, but ultimately money will talk with them.
- Tom doesn't have sole final say, he will need to get approval from partners.
- Floors 5,6,9,10 have usable setbacks
- non-union site but OK with union shoot

Gaby said the owner might be interested in 20K for all-in (including 2 shoot days, 2 prep, 2 wrap)
I originally offered 5K for shoot days plus 1.5 for prep. Gaby said, at 10K the owner won't really be too interested but, at 20K, he likely be very curious. Gaby is going to take the 5K per day offer to the owner and get back to me and see what he'd want.

They would be able to minimize the work occurring on shoot days. However, sometime during April they are having a large steal delivery (that week will be difficult) Gaby can get me the dates as of as March 22nd.

Gaby almost did a shoot for a Verizon Commercial. "I put alot of work into that, and at the last minute they cancelled"

A hotel is going up on the site, but they don't break ground until June, until then the work is not too intense at the site,

- Site is active 7a-3:30p m-f
- He would have to get further approval once you have a better idea what you want to do.
- No exterior elevator, but they do have 3 working freight elevators (interior) located in the middle of the building.
- Stairwells can be seen from exterior
- Building is 8 stories tall. I shot the 8th floor and 6th floor. They are all similar in layout, but with various amounts of mess.
-They also own the lot on the South side of the building (@31st St)
- A federal prison is on the north side. (30th St)
- Non-union site, has no issue with bringing union people on site.
