-Not allowed on the island as it is off limits and is currently unsafe and is a bird sanctuary (Herons)
- This island is very close to Rikers Prison
- To film with a boat need to involve the coastguard, marine patrol and Rikers police.
- Hoping to make this a functioning city park in 5 - 10 years.
- Jennifer asked me if we were using the actual name. I said I did not know. As in her opinion she does not want us to use the name "North Brother Island" as people may believe our story and they are having lots of issues with trespassing, vandalism and theft.
- She was okay with filming from Helicopter, is concerned if we do get permission for the water filming that it is Heron mating season in April and they are all over the island and water. All work on the island is stopped in April for the Herons. |
