For decades and decades, an annual Fancy Dress Ball has been tradition for most Primary Schools in small town country AU. (my older cousins were taking me to theirs a couple of years before I even started school, so guess where my love of costuming got its roots!) My 11yr old cousin Lauren finishes Grade 7 this year, 2002 would be her last FDB. As I'd visited for her sister's Debutante Ball, I would go home to make Lauren her costume & attend her Ball as a birthday present. And so we made her over into a faerie => with attitude!!! -

2 Lauren's schoolchum Katherine, needed a costume too, so I pulled another together the day before the Ball! Wings & wand -2hrs!..just wish I'd had time to decorate the crossbar..
