3 These are English, cut crystal, silver gilt cornucopia-shaped perfume bottles. They are double ended, with a vinagrette at the wider end. Mid Victorian c1875, made in sterling silver and gold on sterling silver with hand-cut bristol blue glass.

This is a fairly common perfume pin but I thought it was cute so I bought it. The sombrero, accented with a conical amethyst stone and attached dabber screws off and the body can be used to hold perfume. The back has a secure safety clasp so it can be worn as a brooch.
Marked: Sterling Ormex Pat Pen (on rim) Mexican Eagle Assay Mark with 12 on Eagle’s Breast (on dabber)
Ormex was a workshop based in Guadalajara (denoted by 12 on eagle’s breast), that primarily specialized in perfume bottles and pill boxes.
