Cow: VOGUE Jewelry

Vogue was founded in 1936 by three partners, Harold Shapiro, Jack Gilbert and George Grant.

Harold Shapiro was father to Bernard Shapiro who founded Les Bernard Inc a generation later.

Vogue jewelry flourished especially during the 1950's when they were responsible for introducing tin-cut Austrian crystals and beaded ropes to the American market.

The Shapiro's left Vogue in 1962 and the company ceased operations in 1977. Relatively scarce on the market - especially pieces from the 1930s and 1940s.
