I'm looking for a female Rat Terrier (age puppy through young adult-under 8 years old preferrably). My husband was extremely attached to his Princess who passed at age 15. His birthday is in October and I would love to give him a living gift he will love.

I lost my Jude March 1 2018. I am just devastated. He was AKC registered but he came to me as a rescue..He was short legged but very agile loving and affectionate...He had a bad first four yrs of life, I only pray the 6 years God let me have w him were good ones for him. I want another rattie but one like my Jude..pointy ears slender snout short legs stubby tail and black and white. I know there will never be another Jude but one just as fun lovable and affectionate. Jude was my little "big" protector. I wish I could send you a picture maybe you can help me decide what specific breed he was.

Where in AZ are you?Why can't I find, please tell me, the dam and sire of the next litter coming on as  listed? Is the male #4 here a runt of the litter? How much about for puppies like the ones just sold? And,sorry, If I send a pic of my rattie that just passed on can you find time to let me know if you have a similar one?

On 1/9/16 I lost my beloved rat terrier Zeke.
On 1/15/16 I lost my dad.
Zeke was there to keep my dad calm thru his nightmare of dementia,becoming a therapy dog without and training.
I swore,swore,swore,no new dog for at least 2 years.
I traveled the world,Europe,Fiji,Mexican Riviera,Florida,and still I could not stop thinking about my Zeke.
So,I broke down and tried to adopt a rat terrier from a rescue.
Well that didnt work out as they did nothing but bust my you know what,aand I have removed all animal rescues from my will/trust.
Then I found Kathy....and Kathy sold me Duke,,,
Let me start by saying Duke is no Zeke,,but then again,,,Zeke was not Duke,,,
Duke has some similarities to my Zeke,yet a totally different personality.
I adore DUKE, I cant say enough great things about him.
I would not hesitate to drive another 445 miles each way to purchase another puppy from Kathy.
I miss my Zeke with all my heart,but I ADORE my Duke every bit as much.
We are SO SO happy to own Duke
He is a very sweet boy and learning quickly...

We like some many have recently lost our RT Sassyrose(our 3rdRT) and are looking for a Rat terrier to replace her. We would prefer a dog around 2 to 3 years to spend a time with my wife and I. We are not interested in breeding we just want a good companion RT.
We also prefer the 15-16" tall. Sassy was a Tri-color BLK, Bro and Apricot and was 15" and just a great RT. If you should come across something in this category we would appreciate you sending an E-Mail or calling me @(915)757-8061. We would be willing to drive to Mesa to look at any RT you think would be of interest to us. We can promise any dog that we take will be loved, pampered, and totally spoiled.

I was referred by Tammy Hayes . I live in the Denver area . I am in need of an adult companion / pretend hunt dog . I'd like a dog like Tonka or Berti Su . I see the two u are offering for adoption now and will consider them . Keep me posted on all the dogs Ur offering for adopt. I know , Getting a dog to Denver might be a problem . But maybe it would work out .
