|
40 Betty wishing the bride the best, she and grandpa Bud can't wait to watch her come down the isle.
| 41 sage words of wisdom for the bride from Erlene
| 42 Don't take any guff off that man now Kim.... okay maybe that wasn't what she said, but it looks pretty serious to me.
|
43 More good wishes as we pass "Kim the phone" around the room....
| 44 Ah Laverne, such a sweet thing to have a shower for Kim.
| 45 Kim is asking Laverne for a list of her bounty....just in case something comes up missing
|
46 Laverne wishing her congrads and assuring Kim we have kept good notes on all gifts...
| 47 Okay, even I had to have my picture in the group, kinda hard to get a good pic, talk on the phone and giggle....
| 48 Sue is next with more good wishes
|
49 Such a great group to get so much wisdom and seasoned adviced
| 50 Dorothy is getting her two cents into the bride.
| 51 It is hard to put all those years of advice in a tiny nut shell and onto a phone...
|
52 last but not least is Lona Lee completing the circle of congrads, well wishes and sage advice.
| 53 listen closely Kim, this is important information from us all....
| 54 Now for what we all came for, some of Laverne's great cooking, what a lovely table....if only I had seen the nuts and mints sooner... LOL
|
55 Look magic, all the places have a piece of yummy desert. Lime serbert with coconut cookies (a quest that finally ended in Portland to find them! you go Laverne) and whipped cream crust and crumbled graham crackers on top. I am sure it is much more complicated then that, but Kim that is the short version, bottom line, you missed out, we didn't!
| 56 I myself had a lovely cup of flavored coffee with mine as did some of the ladies, others had tea. Either way it went down very nicely and was most enjoyable
| 57 Conversation was lively and stories were shared and a pleasant afternoon was spent by all. Again our compliments and thanks to Laverne and Melvine for their efforts.
