She knows that it will be just the cure she needs when on the first day out, the very attractive captain of the ship invites her to lunch with him later that day on Martinique. She's very glad that she remembered to bring along her favorite sun dress.

Johnson waited by the phone for his next set of instructions. He drummed his fingers on the desk wondering for the hundredth time why he had taken this very strange case. The phone rang and Johnson answered. A low, rumbling voice on the other end said, "You will meet the lavender liasion on Thursday night at 9:00 at the corner of 7th and Runion."
Johnson asked, "How will I know this person?"
The voice responded, "You will know." and the phone went dead with a click. Johnson wondered for the hundred and first time why he had taken this case.

Johnson walked down 7th Street towards the corner at Runion. Leaning against the lamp post was a woman in a lavender satin trench coat. She had the face of an angel. He thought, "Hmmm. This case just might be looking up a bit."
The woman greeted him with a husky voice. She led him into a nearby, dimly-lit bar and took him to a quiet table in the back. Taking off her coat, she revealed the body of a seductress in a lavender satin cocktail dress. Johnson thought, "Oh yes! This case is definitely looking up!"
