Pewter Pastels are the combination of a Cinnamon Pastel crossed to a Pastel jungle. The resulting cross is a silver /purple snake with a pure white ventral surface. One of the hottest looking ball python crosses out there!!! These guys are also special because their daddy, my male Cinnamon pastel was the first cinny hatched in a Pewter clutch by Greg Graziani in 2003.

1 TWIN PEWTERS! This is my 3rd clutch to contain twin ball pythons. Unfortunately with twins.......since both snakes are occupying the same egg they are much smaller than normal hatchlings and are susseptible to developmental problems. In thi scase one pewter hatched prematurely and died upon hatching. His twin hatched 7 days later and is doing well, but it need to be observed as the individual weight for them was 13 grams on the deceased pewter asnd 16 grams on the living sibling. Average weight for the clutchmates was 87 grams per snake....so these guys are SMALL!!!
2 Deceased Pewter in my hand and his twin in the egg taking it's first breaths.
3 Here is an amazing pewter, unfortunaetly it died full term in the egg.....you can see it appears to have an enlarged heart which is the small lump just behind the head on the belly. I removed it from the egg for this picture.
