Bull Elk in  velvet  in Yellowstone National Park.
This guy was just into the trees and on the other side of a small stream. There must have been 40-50 people watching him graze.

Same location as previous. Lower Yellowstone Falls is the prettiest between the upper and lower falls in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Most photographed too.

I backed off a bit on the zoom to catch this. It is my favorite picture of the lower falls. I wasn't impressed by the upper falls

This herd of Buffalo with a lot of cows and calves swam the river. There were at least 50 or more in the herd. The crossing was quiet except for the grunts from their efforts. The only part you can see is the their heads as they cross. They go across and down stream as the current is stong
