 It's not a Jeep!
|  Right after WWII, my dad was working for an auto manufacturer where he made this rough casting out of aluminum. It sat on his workbench in the garage until he moved to Seattle where it then sat on his workbench in the basement. Every so often, he would remark that he was going to finish it. He never explained what he needed to do to finish it though.
Now it is sitting on display in my den.

|  My grandma gave me this robot for Christmas in 1961. I thought it was cool looking. (Back then, the term was "Bosco" which later evolved into "Boss".) But, I was just a little bit too old to play with it. After a few minutes watching it walk across the floor, the motor gave out. So I put the robot on the shelf, and that's where he's been since then.

 I have this as my desktop background at work. Sometimes, when I get stressed, I just close up all the windows on my PC and stare at Homer.
