In Ojibway Chikanishing means "The Calm Sea". I shot this while hiking in April of this year. Today I stitched together some pans to give you an anamorphic sense of the place and I am including some singles for specific details.
From what I have been taught to recognize, the shallow potholes on the tables are likely sacred fire pits with 10,000 years or so of shamanistic history.
