EOS and Leica R Just got me two more lovely old R lenses from the eighties (Macro-Elmarit 2.8/60 Elmarit 2.8/180 second model) and stuck them on to my EOS 350D with a Novoflex EOS/LER adapter. Nikkor, Carl Zeiss (Contax) and Leica-R amongst others can be used on Canon EOS bodies with inexpensive adapters, and the camera can use aperture priority stop-down mode. Focus is not easy with the little Canon 350D body.
