Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana
| Headed up north through central Utah. Spent one night near Park City and on up into Idaho and Wyoming. Spent a few nights in the Grand Tetons near Jackson Hole and then on into Yellowstone NP. We drove many many miles and saw many beautiful, interesting and educational sites. Yes, including "Old Faithfull" which was by no means necessarily the highlight. The snow capped mountains were gorgeous as were the crystal clear lakes and rivers. The fires of 1988 devastated the beautiful forests as far as you could see which was very sad. The bright side is they are coming back with new growth. The skeletons of the past still stand tall as a reminder. |
