A new PhotoBlog to create a pictorial record of a variety of random images captured by my camera during 2010. These photos are arranged in reverse order so the most recent images can be seen at the top of the album. This album is now complete and many thanks to viewers for the current 23,799 visits as you have followed the growth of the album throughout 2010.  A new PhotoBlog for 2011 will be coming soon.

03 December 2010. The Chapel was originally built in 1903 as the Congregational Church and was relocated and rebuilt brick by brick at its current location in Minnawarra Historic Precinct in 1987.

14 October 2010. This gracefully weeping tree was given the name ‘peppermint’ by early colonists because of the peppermint scent given off by crushed leaves. Its drooping habit has earned the tree its second common name ‘Willow Myrtle’.

14 October 2010. (Agonis flexuosa. In late spring the tree is laden with thousands of tiny white, pink-centred flowers that weigh the already drooping branches to the ground.
