Kansas, Colorado and 1st Utah
| Our route took us across the southern part of Kansas. We visited with friends west of Coffeyville who have a great little "garden railroad" setup with all the bells and whistles. Then on over to visit a niece and her family in Pueblo,Colorado. From there we headed through some of our old favorite stomping grounds in the mountains near Gunnison, then on through Montrose and Ridgway, entering Utah east of Moab. In the Moab area we spent time in both the north and south Canyonlands NP and Arches NP, including time for a raft trip down the Colorada river. Heading north from there up into Wyoming. |
