We celebrated both another birthday and a guy's weekend. The addition of McMurdie to the mix was a welcome change. Perhaps 2008 sees the women join the club and dive SoCal.

1 Gear Set Up and Ready To Go! August 1st, 10:30pm and we are ready to dive first thing in the AM. On to Santa Barbara Island.
2 Nudibranch on the move. This little guy was camera shy and tended to shrivel up when primped for a photo, so I took the photo as is.
3 Jace and Clayton, divers ready? Just a little more combersome to shaka the hang loose sign with gloves but Jace gives it a try. Clayton goes with the thumbs up approach.
4 Mc Murdie: Photo Journalist Dave is on the prowl for his next subject. Nice exposure on the tank, don't you think?
5 Here Fishy Fishy Fishy! Very inquisitive little fish.
6 Female Sheepshead Do you like my overbite? Does it make you randy baby? Oh, behave!
7 I Sea You! This guy scared the crap out of me about a second after this photo was taken. It would have been nice to see a photo of that.
8 Peace The symbol of our beloved dive boat. Otherwise, not very remarkable subject.
9 Calamari anyone? Notice the chunk taken out by the eye. This guy changed colors a few times as I neared him.
10 Birthday Surprise. Jace had a special cake prepared by the boat's chef. A big brownie with cream cheese frosting and peanut butter cookies that read HAPPY 14th JACE
