While visiting my brother Wayne & wife Jackie in the historical California Gold Rush country, we took advantage of the many photo opportunities to record our tours of the area and of our one day in Yosemite National Park.

1 After exiting CA 99 to drive east the views through the windshield were a welcome change. First flat, followed by mountains and sharp curves. Images 1 through 7.

48 On our way to the Yosemite north entrance we passed through a neat little town, Groveland, CA. Two images.

59 Bridalveil Falls still has fair amount of water flowing in mid September.
60 From this vista point one can see El Capitan, large meadow, and views of Yosemite Falls, though very litte water this time of year.

67 Half Dome is probably the most famous landmark of the park, at least it is in my opinion.

74 The last 4 images are from a favorite view point on road to South entrance. Another spectacular view is from Glacier Point which we did not have time to visit this day.
