While visiting my brother Wayne & wife Jackie in the historical California Gold Rush country, we took advantage of the many photo opportunities to record our tours of the area and of our one day in Yosemite National Park.

After exiting CA 99 to drive east the views through the windshield were a welcome change. First flat, followed by mountains and sharp curves. Images 1 through 7. Photos 1, 2, & 3 by Lea
			Images 8 through 23 were taken in the Stanislaus State Park (there is also a Stanislaus National Park).
Images 9 through 15 are views of the Stanislaus River.
			The Sequoia redwoods never cease to amaze, huge and tall.
			This photo of Lea provides some perspective of tree size.

		We enjoyed enormous single dip ice cream in this well maintained store along the main drag of Columbia.
